Chiropractic Care for Veterans at Aaron Chiropractic

Understanding Chiropractic Services

Chiropractic treatments are more than just spinal adjustments. They encompass a holistic approach to health, focusing on the spine and the entire musculoskeletal system.

By restoring mobility, reducing pain, and alleviating muscle tightness, chiropractic care aids in improving overall body function and enhancing your quality of life.

Our Commitment to Veterans

At Aaron Chiropractic, we hold immense respect for our veterans. As a token of our appreciation, we've tailored special chiropractic services for those holding a Gold or White card from the Department of Veterans.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Veteran Gold Card holders are eligible for our services.

  • Veteran White Card holders can also avail our services, provided the treatment addresses an accepted service-related condition.

    Good News for Eligible Veterans:

We bulk bill for all chiropractic services for eligible White and Gold card holders. This ensures that you receive the care you deserve without any financial barriers.

What Our Treatment Entails:

  • Personalized Assessment: Understanding your unique health profile and determining the best course of action.

  • Customized Treatment Plan: Based on the initial assessment, we create a plan tailored to your needs.

  • Hands-on Treatment: This includes spinal manipulation to restore mobility and corrective exercises to enhance muscle strength and flexibility.

From 1 October 2019, all chiropractic services shifted to the Allied Health Services treatment cycle. This means each referral you have lasts for up to 12 sessions or 1 year, whichever comes first. But worry not – you can have multiple treatment cycles, ensuring continued care.

Easy Steps to Access Our Premium Services:

  1. Obtain a Referral: This can be from a General Practitioner (GP), medical specialist, your treating doctor in a hospital, or even a hospital discharge planner.

  2. Reach Out to Us: Once you have your referral, contact Aaron Chiropractic to schedule an appointment. Always ensure that your chosen chiropractor accepts the Gold or White Card.

Points Every Veteran Should Know:

  • Direct Billing: We believe in a hassle-free experience. We'll bill the DVA directly for all eligible services.

  • Choose Wisely: Only opt for a DVA-registered service provider. This ensures that you're under the care of professionals who understand the unique needs of veterans.

  • Open Communication: Always keep us informed if you're receiving treatment for the same condition elsewhere. This ensures a harmonized treatment approach.

  • Residential Care: If you're moving or have moved to permanent residential aged care, please inform us. This might affect the chiropractic services available to you.

  • History Matters: Your medical history, especially any recent consultations with other chiropractors, is crucial for us to provide the best care.

  • Billing Concerns: In case you receive a bill from us, contact us immediately before making any payments. Services should be covered by your Gold or White Card.

Stay Updated & Keep Us Informed:

Any change, be it closing a rehabilitation plan or adjusting to more permanent care arrangements, can affect your chiropractic care entitlements.

Always inform us within 14 days of such changes to ensure seamless service.
